It is still running

Filed under: The Mysterious Utility — witchpig @ 8:13 am

Well the Mu is still running, not surprising but not exactly an ideal automobile either. We are still and will always be dirty about the cost of getting it to this stage and the fact that we will never get a roadworthy if we wanted to sell it but hopefully it will go on for a few years yet.

Useless piece of….^$&#%$

Filed under: The Mysterious Utility — witchpig @ 11:10 am

Well, it’s been a while since I updated the Mu thread….probably because I would much rather forget it! The leaking oil turned out to be more than first thought. My mechanic has recommended I not bother fixing the latest and just run it to the ground…or sell it unregistered on ebay!

Decided to drive it as is and then wait for a trade in deal on a newer/better car! Sigh….I guess I found out what was mysterious about this utility!

Well…for the 5th time, the MU is back at the mechanics….has been leaking one fluid or another since buying the lemon…..at least its still fun to drive!

The real story!

Filed under: The Mysterious Utility — witchpig @ 12:01 pm

I love my Honda….it used to “dink-ding” whenever lights were left on. As for the MU, it just flattens the battery.

Pig was not too happy after pushing the car, three times. (Once forward, once back and once forward again) Perhaps next time he will fully explain how to start the car with whatever the leftest pedal does.

Headlights in the day time

Filed under: The Mysterious Utility — witchpig @ 11:51 am

Well it was raining and foggy this morning when the Witch went to the train station, so she did the right thing and used the headlights. Got out of the car and turned off everything except the headlights. 9 Hours later and the car won’t start. The pig gets a call, removes said battery and takes it home and puts it on the neighbours home made charger. A few hours later we thought we would see if it would start the car hook it all back up and it goes close but no joy.

Let’s try and clutch start it. The Pig outlines all the elements required for a successfull clutch start except for hte one crucial one let the clutch out when maximum velocity has been reached. The Witch presumed this meant try and turn the ignition which has already shown it won’t start. The Woman’s Day has a Mere Male column. Comedians have songs (folks are dumb where I come from) I have a Witch 🙂

No harm done. Battery is back ont he charger and we will get it fired up in the monring.
